NIM Reach is a WhatsApp Business messaging service operated by NEXINFINITY META (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. Businesses use it to send and receive WhatsApp messages with their own customers. This policy explains what information the service handles, why, where it is kept, and the choices people have.
1. Who is responsible for what
For the account details of the businesses that sign up (their team members' names and email addresses, and their workspace settings), NEXINFINITY META (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED decides how that information is used.
For the information a business brings into NIM Reach — its contacts and the messages it exchanges with them — the business decides what is collected and why, and NEXINFINITY META (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED handles it only to provide the service to that business. If you received a message from a business through NIM Reach, that business is your first point of contact about your information; we will help them answer you.
2. Information the service handles
- Account information: the name, email address and role of each team member, and the workspace name and settings.
- WhatsApp Business account details: the WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, display name, quality rating and messaging limit Meta reports for the connected number.
- Access tokens that let the service act for the connected WhatsApp number. These are stored encrypted in a secrets vault and are never shown to any user.
- Contacts: phone numbers, names, and any attributes or labels the business adds, together with a record of when and how each person agreed to receive messages, and when they asked to stop.
- Messages: the content of messages sent and received, their timestamps, delivery and read status, and the pricing category Meta reports.
- Technical information: server and security logs (for example IP addresses and error reports) needed to keep the service running and secure.
3. How it is used
- To send and receive WhatsApp messages on the business's behalf, show them in the shared inbox, and run the campaigns and automatic replies the business sets up.
- To enforce consent: people without a recorded opt-in are not sent marketing messages, and anyone who replies with an opt-out word such as STOP is not sent marketing again.
- To show delivery results and estimate what Meta will charge the business for messages.
- To secure the service, investigate problems, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use the content of customers' messages to train artificial-intelligence models.
5. How it is protected
- All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
- Each business's data is separated at the database level: a member of one workspace cannot read another workspace's contacts or messages.
- Access within a business is limited by role (for example, an agent who is not allowed to read contacts cannot see them).
- WhatsApp access tokens are kept in an encrypted vault and are readable only by the service itself.
- Every message received from Meta is checked against Meta's signature before it is processed.
6. How long it is kept
Contacts and messages are kept for as long as the business keeps them in NIM Reach. A business can delete contacts at any time and can disconnect its WhatsApp number, which deletes the stored access token. When a business closes its account, its workspace data is deleted within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something longer. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.
7. Your choices and rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — and other laws where they apply — you may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, and to withdraw your consent. To stop messages from a business at any time, reply STOP to it on WhatsApp. For everything else, see how to request deletion, or write to us.
8. Children
NIM Reach is a service for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date. Significant changes are also announced to account owners by email.
